Animals on a Farm in Missouri

A loud "Cluck" echoes as a chicken soars into the barn.

Cow: So what are the humans first worlding about today?

Chicken: Cluck. Animals rights-- Cluck--activists protesting at city hall. A sign--Cluck--Cluck--picure of a Pig with the words Let's Ham It Out Mayor.

Cow: They are still arguing that Farmer Phil should provide us with a cruelty free life of freedom, fed with grass where we can interact with the land freely, engage with other animals freely,  experience the natural environment--Winter, Spring and Summer and--

Pig: Fall Dead.

Chicken: Cluck--Cluck. Fall Dead?

Pig: That's right.  You've been a naive city chicken. Out here,  humans take home the bacon in autumn.

Chicken: Cluck. Cluck. What?

Pig: Spare me the ribbing--

Cow shoots a gaze at Pig.

Pig: She's not ribbing me---

She does not know.

She wouldn't know.

She's an urban city chicken.

Pig: The humans shoot us; slaughter us, eat us.

Farmer Phil and his Friends make a weekend of it. "Take Your Shot" he calls it.  Take a shot of whiskey and a shot at an animal from long distance--with the gun of your choice.

Pig: Teens are even allowed to take a shot.

Chicken: Cluck. Fuck!

Cow: Rather breathe comfortably while we breathe. The picketing forced Farmer Phil to allow us to congregate.

Bull: Humanshit ideology. Humanshit. Human guilt at work here. Picketing. Grass fed animals. Humanshit Sandwich you're eating. Don't eat the human shit that allows them to sleep at night.

Pig: You mean "Eat at Night?”

Chicken: Cluck.
